■2,476 new cases of the novel coronavirus were reported in Israel on Saturday, April 23, 2022 with 223 patients in serious condition, according to a Sunday morning update by the Health Ministry.
Of the serious cases, 77 were on ventilators, and six people were on ECMO machines. The death toll stood at 10,658.
■A total of 2,640 people in Israel tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday, April 28, 2022 out of 24,620 tests taken, according to the Health Ministry.
Currently, 188 COVID-19 patients are in serious condition, 59 of whom are intubated and five of whom are on ECMO machines.
The current death toll from COVID-19 in Israel stands at 10,695.
So far, 801,375 Israelis have received four doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 4,487,353 have received three doses, 6,135,410 have received two doses and 6,706,551 have received one.
