Some 10,200 new COVID-19 cases were recorded across Israel on Sunday, June 19, 2022, the highest number of new daily cases seen in the country since early in April.
38.95% returned a positive result. The R-rate currently stands at 1.32.
The number of serious cases also continues to rise, with 168 people currently considered to be in serious condition, including 32 people who are intubated and two people connected to ECMO machines.
Since the start of the pandemic, Israel has recorded 10,908 COVID-19-related deaths.

Some 10,700 new COVID-19 cases were recorded across Israel on Monday, June 20, 2022, an increase of 500 from the previous day, indicating that infection rates are still continuing to climb, reaching highs that haven’t been seen for almost three months.
The R-rate currently stands at 1.3. 27.55% returned a positive test result.
The number of serious cases is also continuing to climb, with 180 people considered to be in serious condition, of whom 37 are intubated and two are connected to ECMO machines.
