Los Angeles
Faith Sasaki(Pastor,TLEA Los Angeles Church)
Hallelujah! I praise the name of the Lord. Thank you for your sincere prayers and precious offerings.
I visited Sacramento, the capital of California, for the first time from April 23rd to 25th, accompanied by Pastor Fuchino. This place is said to mean “Sacred” in Spanish. We participated in a guided tour at the California State Capitol, where we had the opportunity to visit the Senate chamber and other areas, making it a very enlightening learning experience. Afterwards, we took time to praise and worship the Lord at the Capitol’s garden as part of a praise team!
In front of the Capitol, you can see the Sacramento Tower Bridge spanning the Sacramento River. Along the river, there’s Old Town, reminiscent of the Gold Rush era, where we offered praise and worship to the Lord amidst the beautiful riverside scenery.
The third place we visited was Southside Park, located in a district where many Japanese families once lived. It seems to have a history of Japanese internment and the demolition of Japanese neighborhoods. However, currently, cherry blossom trees are planted there as a memorial. In that spot, too, we were able to offer praise wholeheartedly. I am grateful for God’s
blessings on the work of the praise team, and I give all glory to Him.
Please keep praying for the work of our Los Angeles church. Thank you very much. God bless you.
“I will establish my covenant between me and you, and I will multiply you exceedingly.” (Genesis 17:2)
